Rekhta Dictionary
A trilingual treasure of Urdu words
As a Senior UI Designer, I was hired by Rekhta to lead the end-to-end design of both their dictionary app and website, bringing these platforms from concept to live launch. Working with the UX team, I developed a cohesive, bilingual user experience tailored to Urdu learners and enthusiasts. My goal was to create an engaging, accessible space where users could explore word meanings, translations, historical context, and literary references.
I mapped out three primary user journeys that would guide different user types through intuitive pathways to search, discover, and interact with content seamlessly. Through high-fidelity designs, I brought these journeys to life across both mobile and web interfaces, emphasizing clarity, cultural aesthetic, and ease of use. This project culminated in a polished, responsive app and website that extended the reach of Rekhta's brand and provided users with a rich, fluid Urdu dictionary experience.
